01THE WEDDING
When and where is the wedding?
Sunday, July 11, 2027. The ceremony will be at St. Nicholas Church in Ermoupoli, followed by the reception at CIEL. Exact timing will be shared once finalized.
What should I wear?
Summer Cocktail. Think summer in Europe: elevated, colorful, and made for a warm evening by the sea. Lighter fabrics, dresses, linen suits, and a little color are encouraged. Wear something you feel great in and come ready to celebrate.
Can I bring a child or plus-one?
We kindly ask that you only bring the guests listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, just reach out to Olivia or Josh.
02GETTING TO SYROS
What's the best way to get to Syros?
For most guests, the easiest route will be to fly into Athens and take the ferry from Piraeus to Syros. You can also reach Syros by ferry from several other Greek islands.
When should I plan to arrive in Syros?
If you'd like to make a weekend of it, plan to arrive by Friday, July 9. That gives you time to settle in, explore a little, and join us for our welcome celebration on Saturday, July 10.
Do I need to book my ferry in advance?
Yes. Summer is a busy travel season in Greece, so we recommend booking your ferry once the 2027 schedules are released and your travel plans are set. We'll keep the website updated as schedules become available.

Where should I stay in Syros?
We've shared a few hotel options in Ermoupoli on our Plan Your Stay page, including our wedding room blocks. Staying in or near Ermoupoli will keep you close to the wedding weekend and make it easy to explore on foot.
Do I need to rent a car?
A car isn't necessary for most guests. Ermoupoli is very walkable, and taxis are easy to arrange when needed. Parking in town can also be tricky, so walking or taking a taxi is often the easiest option. Local buses are also available for getting to many beaches and villages.
What should I do while I'm in Syros?
Explore Ermoupoli, spend a day at the beach, eat well, and leave yourself some time to wander. We've added some of our favorite spots and recommendations to the map, and you can always Ask Niko for ideas based on what you're looking for.
04GOOD TO KNOW
What will the weather be like?
July in Syros is typically hot, sunny, and dry. Pack for warm days and evenings, plenty of sun, and a little wind, which is common in the Cyclades.
What kind of shoes should I bring?
Ermoupoli has hills, stairs, and plenty of stone and marble streets. Comfortable shoes are a good idea for exploring, and you may want a more walkable option to change into during the wedding weekend.
Will I need cash?
Cards are widely accepted, but it's a good idea to have some euros on hand for smaller purchases, buses, taxis, and anywhere that may prefer cash.
